Current Research
| Current Research | My research interests involve a multidisciplinary approach to study the mechanisms which underlie learning and memory in the adult mammalian brain, and the processes which underlie age-related learning impairments. I use classical conditioning of the eyeblink reflex as a model paradigm in rabbits, rats and mice to study and analyze these mechanisms with behavior, multiple-single neuron recordings, anatomical tract tracing, behavioral pharmacology, and functional magnetic resonance imaging. |
