Individual Development Plan
Students must meet with their Thesis Advisors to discuss and generate an Individual Training Plan (See Individual Development Plans Guide for more detail) by the end of the first year of study (as soon as the thesis laboratory has been selected). The IDP is designed to allow the Thesis Advisor and student to set annual goals towards research progress and career development. The first IDP should be created as soon as a student joins a thesis laboratory and must be completed annually thereafter. The IDPs must be submitted to NUIN or uploaded to GSTS no later than the beginning of each academic year.
